WWI History Exhibit---Feb. 3-March 10  A traveling exhibit designed to interest young people in history WWI through use of Charles Schultz' Snoopy and The Red Baron cartoon characters.

Aviation Expressions---Feb. 16, 7 o'clock.  Royal Navy test pilot Eric Brown.  NOTE:  One of the Plant City chapter members is familiar with Brown's accomplishments and told me after the chapter dinner that this British military aviator was involved in bringing captured German fighter aircraft to England at the close of WWII, including the Messerschmitt Me-163 "Komet", which he flew.  He has flown 487 different aircraft types and is a former head of the Royal Aircraft Test program.  This is a wonderful opportunity to meet "living history".  Light refreshments and socializing fro 6 to 7.

Airshow Specialist to Present --- Feb 24.  Kimberly Walsh is a specialist on "big iron" and follows the airshow circuit, the Reno races and EAA's B-17 tours, among other events.  She is a specialist on WWII maintenance and repair.  That should be an interesting presentation!

Florida Jets R/C Weekend---Feb. 28-March 4   Large scale model "invitational" meet featuring all jets.  These builder-pilots are among the "best of the best" and some of the most exotic aircraft can cost $30-$40 thousand----though you can get started for "only" a couple thou!

Sun 'n Fun Fly-In---April 17-23   "Be there!!!"

"Top Gun" R/C Weekend---May 2-6  Another opportunity to see "the best of the best" in radio control, featuring prop and jet models.
